Filmmaker Bob Ruggeri’s production company, Omega Point Films, is based right here in Cleveland. Yet Ruggeri’s no starry-eyed beginner. With more than 15 years of experience as a producer, scriptwriter and director, he has been involved with films that screened at the Sundance and Cannes film festivals. Omega Point’s first project was the 2015 spoof of America’s celebrity hunger, Lost in Austin.
Ruggeri will be the speaker at this month’s edition of Creative Mornings, taking place at Merwin’s Wharf in the Flats. He’ll be talking about how he made his ideas for projects into reality in a business with endless roadblocks.
