Back in the spring, two very different Cleveland acts teamed up for a show at the Music Box Supper Club. Singer/guitarist/songwriter Austin “Walkin Cane” Charanghat has made his name in the local music scene in the last two decades performing his lowkey Delta-influenced acoustic blues. The Revolution Brass Band, on the other hand, performs high-energy horn-and percussion music that drives people to their feet with an aggressive blend of jazz, rock, funk, Afrobeat and New Orleans brass band music performed by an ensemble of some of the area’s top young professional musicians.
It must have worked well. They are back together, again at the Music Box. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
