 Fri 7/31 @ 8:00PM

Things are heating up at this year’s Thomas & Evon Cooper International Competition. The alternating violin and piano competition for 13 – 18 year-olds, is a joint venture between the Oberlin Conservatory and The Cleveland Orchestra, with the final concert taking place at Severance Hall.

CoolCleveland met up with 18 year-old competitor, Gallia Kastner, to get her insights on this year’s prospects. With this being her last year, listen to her practice here, and then hopefully watch her compete for $10,000 dollars in the finals, with the full Cleveland Orchestra at her back!
