Akron singer/songwriter/guitarist Ryan Humbert is always looking for a way to bring something new to the table, whether it’s an intriguing collaboration or one of his special tribute evenings to influences such as Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison or Johnny Cash.
His latest in that vein is “Walk Right Back: The Music of the Every Brothers” in which he and his longtime vocal sparring partner Emily Bates will take the title roles. Expect to hear the classic tunes that influenced rock and roll harmony singing from the Beatles on down.
It’s at the Music Box Supper Club. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
