Jason Hanley is the director of education at the Roc and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum. In that role, he’s taught classes to both adults and children for more than ten years, helping to give them new perspectives on popular music. Recently, he published a book called We Rock: A Fun Family Guide for Exploring Rock Music History from Elvis and the Beatles to Ray Charles and The Ramones that plays into the Rock Hall’s mission of trying to make rock music relevant to people of all ages.
Hanley will be at Coventry Village during its Sidewalk Sale to sign copies of his book. He’ll join the School of Rock at the Coventry Outdoor Playground for the weekly Saturday Live Music series to give a short talk between sets. Mac’s Backs will provide the books, if you want to buy one.
