Becky and Nathan Bliss are another of those “couple” bands, the ones who believe that those who make music together stay together. They perform together as Barnaby Bright.

Both are highly trained and dedicated musicians — she with an opera background, he a graduate of the acclaimed Berklee College. They play more than a dozen instruments between them. Yet their music has an unaffected, folk-like feel that belies their assurance and the sophistication of their songwriting.

The twosome travels extensively, spending well over half the year on the road. They played a sold-out show at the Riverdog Gallery in Lorain, and now they’re coming back for a summer show in the much larger Riverdog Barn. There will be food for purchase on site, but you can bring a picnic and a cooler with whatever you like to drink.

Admission is a $15 donation at the gate $5 for students with ID, kids 12 and under free. Reservations are suggested for parking.
