One of the nicest things about the Cain Park Arts Festival, now in its 38th year, is where it takes place, with artist booths arrayed along the tree-lined paths of the park.
With 150 artists, from as far away as California and as nearby as Cleveland Heights, there’s a huge range of stuff to choose from, whether you are in the market for a $100 photo or want to spend thousands on an eye-catching sculpture. While there’s predictably a lot of jewelry, there’s also painting, prints, ceramics, glasswork and handmade clothing.
And it’s not strictly about art. Local food vendors are on site, and there’s entertainment going on throughout in the amphitheater including kids’ entertainers. So it’s always a fun day for everybody.
Admission is free on Friday, $5 on Saturday and Sunday, 12 and under free.
