You can watch the July 4th fireworks a lot of places downtown. But why not come down to the Music Box Supper Club for some lively all-American polka music before and after? The Chardon Polka Band, one of the younger bands keeping this tradition alive playing both the older tunes and contemporary tunes in polka style, will perform two sets with a break for the fireworks, which you should be able to get a nice eyeful of at the Music Box’s location on the west bank of the Flats.
Even better, it’s one of the club’s Lucky 7 shows, which means your $7 admission gets you in and gets you a glass of the free craft cocktail of the night. We expect this one to be red, white and blue!
