Taylor Lamborn is an emerging singer-songwriter who has made a home and a name for herself in the Cleveland music scene. Taylor recently returned to Ohio from a two-month tour in Costa Rica and the southeastern United States. Not waiting around for anyone to give her permission, she is making her own path in the local and international music scene. Listening to her live, one gets a taste of her youthful exuberance, defiant confidence and a heart-tugging take on life’s disappointments. Not only is Taylor’s energy evident through her facial expressions and soulful melodies, but it is often complimented by one of her many pairs of worldly thrift-store boots stomping along to the music.
Taylor says she is driven by the desire to improve at her craft and create overall artistic visions with her CDs, videos, and live performances. It is evident an intelligent woman is driving this operation. Her savvy business edge comes from two degrees at the College of Wooster along with previous entrepreneurial work experience. During her Costa Rica tour, not only did she perform, but she also experienced a new culture, including playing music in different settings like waterfalls. This gave her an opportunity to expand her network, and grow as an international artist. She speaks of a new perspective on world. Her return included a coastal U.S. tour of Florida, New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Charleston.
