For the second year in a row, Rooms to Let invited residents and visitors to a vibrant, temporary art installation staged in four vacant houses in the Slavic Village neighborhood. The four structures are slated for demolition and allowed the 40 participating artists nearly free reign to reinvent every corner and surface. Art installations took multiple forms: audio, video, water features, painting, sculpture, vegetation, lighting  and more. Several artists reclaimed and incorporated items found on site such as drawers, wall paper or bricks.

Attendees were able to self tour each house and be surprised at every turn. People were encouraged to participate in a makeshift mini golf course, make prints espousing their love of the neighborhood, write / paint on walls, and take babushka selfies. Live music and local food were scattered throughout the route to enhance the experience. Hoping Slavic Village continues to make this event happen annually because it is not to missed next year.
