Front Steps Housing and Services (formerly known as Transitional Housing, Inc.) celebrates its 6th year of the Annual Run/Walk for Home 5K, inviting individuals and families to spend their Saturday morning at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
Participants will receive a race t-shirt, breakfast and admission to the Zoo and the RainForest for the day. If that’s not enough, proceeds will go toward providing permanent housing solutions to mentally disabled and/or economically disadvantaged individuals in Cuyahoga County. Work up a sweat while supporting a good cause — you can always cool off at the Zoo’s latest limited-time exhibit, the Penguin Shores, while you enjoy free admission for the day.
Pre-registration is $27; it’s $30 day of the event; $60 for family of four (2 adults, 2 children ages 2-12; each child is $10 extra; no family registration race day). Online registration closes the evening of 5/28/2015. Registration starts at 7:30am on race day. The run steps off at 8:30pm, followed by the 5K walk at 9.
