Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall hosts concerts almost every weekend, featuring both local and touring acts that do various forms of American roots music from bluegrass to country to folk to blues to rock. Down-home acoustic bands are especially well-suited for the setting of this rural 19th-century building. This week they’re featuring some guys from their own backyard, local bluegrassers the Stumpy Basin Volunteers. It’s sure to be a fun evening of pickin’ and singin’.
