Love and Food

love

Let’s just assume we all love each other. Better yet, let’s assume we all need to eat. And hunger is all around us, in the city, in the suburbs. Jason Weiner is doing something about it with All You Need Is Love (And Food), a mini-Beatles fest to benefit Trinity Lakewood Community Outreach, and their hot meal program.

We love the way Jeff Blanchard keeps his comedy mojo alive. After founding 2 improv groups, this week he performs at the Comedy Improv Alliance. This week’s Pecha Kucha focuses on food, and Ramp Up Peninsula honors the humble ramp. We love sneaking you into Near West Theatre’s new space, on the eve of their first production. And while KSU is building a new Center for Visual Arts, we clue you in on the benefit auction that will help pay for it.

Celebrate Arbor Day all over town all week. Go on a literary bar crawl. Or swing dancing in the Slovenian Workman’s Home. How about a Party for the Planet or Poetry in the Woods? How ready are you for a killer internship this summer? Because CoolCleveland would love to have you.–Thomas Mulready
