Bluegrass, Swing & Old-Time at Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall with the Crooked River Stompers

CrookedRver

Fri 4/24 @ 7PM

John Reynolds, Jack DiAlessandro and Jon Mosey, who collectively comprise the Crooked River Stompers, have been playing a variety of American roots music, from folk to swing to bluegrass to blues to old-time to string-band music in a variety of ensembles for longer than they probably want to admit, while also performing as solo artists. All three are multi-instrumentalists who between them mandolin, guitar, violin, autoharp, piano, banjo, harmonica — and all three sing.

So it should be a night of unpretentious fun, skilled musicianship and homey vibes when the trio performs at Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall for its Voices in the Valley concert series. Admission is $7 at the door.
