Two Classic Jazz Nights With Bucky Pizzarelli Quartet at Nighttown

Wed 3/11 @ 7PM

Thu 3/12 @ 7PM

The 89-year-old jazz guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli began his career as a teenager during World War II. He’s covered a lot of ground in that time including a stint as an NBC staff musician and The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson band. His discography as a leader and sideman is too long to recount. And he’s spawned three other musicians: noted guitarist/ singer/Great American Songbook specialist John Pizzarelli, jazz bassist Martin Pizzarelli and classical guitarist Mary Pizzarelli.

But dad is still going strong. The Bucky Pizzarelli Quartet — which features Martin Pizzarelli, along with pianist Konrad Paszkudski and drummer Dag Markhus — will be in residence at Nighttown for two nights, a great opportunity to see one of the living treasures of jazz.

Tickets are $30.
