The Jack Fords Release New CD at the Euclid Tavern

JackFords

Fri 3/6 @ 9PM

We have been waiting way too long for new music from Cleveland’s The Jack Fords. Their last album, The Way Things Should Be, was released in 2011. So their fans should be more than psyched for the new album There It Is.

Featuring two of the area’s more prominent musicians, jack-of-all-genres vocalist Brent Kirby and dynamic ex-Cowslingers guitarist Bobby Latina, the group plays a sort of Americana-laced rock that sounds both as comfortable and broken-in as an old sweater and as unsettling as a romance slowly going bad.

The band, which also features Edward Angel Sotelo on bass and Jim Wall on drums, will be debuting the album at their CD release show at the Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern, where they will play the album in its entirety, fleshed out with tunes from The Way Things Should Be and their debut Bent Outta Shape. Ray Flanagan and the Authorities open.

Admission is $10.
