Ok, so vinyl may never be as popular as it once was. But with casual music listeners having departed en mass from physical formats to virtual ones, serious music collectors and listeners — the ones who will always want an object to hold in their hands — have increasingly turned to vinyl as their format of choice.
It’s for that growing number of vinyl junkies that the Beachland Ballroom is holding its Record Riot All-Vinyl Record Show. The event will feature dealers from both local dealers and dealers from outside the area with music in a variety of genres.
The event is free although early-bird tickets will be available at the door at 9am for those afraid that their treasure “want” item might be snapped up before they get to it. And afterward, you can walk up the street and check out the huge selection of vinyl at Music Saves and Blue Arrow Records.
