John Relyea has regrettably canceled his Thu 4/2 Oberlin Artist Recital Series appearance due to illness.

Renowned operatic mezzo-soprano Stephanie Blythe will perform with Warren Jones instead on Thursday evening, April 2 at 8 PM. All tickets to Relyea’s performance will be honored.
She’ll be coming to Oberlin College’s Finney Chapel to perform with pianist Warren Jones who is on the faculty of the Manhattan College of Music and has served as assistant conductor for both the Metropolitan Opera and the San Francisco Opera, while performing with orchestras, chamber ensembles and as a collaborator with a long list of today’s top classical vocalists — such as Blythe.
“Blythe’s voice was electrifying in its dramatic qualities, with cadenzas that took her to both extremes of her considerable range, adding some mind-blowing ornamentations on the da capo repeats.” —The Washington Post
