April 12th is National Grilled Cheese Day, and in its honor, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has released its list of the top 5 best vegan grilled cheese sandwiches. And guess what made the list? The vegan-upon-request Parmageddon at Melt, featuring pierogies, sauteed onions, vegan cheddar and fresh napa sauerkraut. Of course, the vegan options at Melt don’t stop there (try the tofu wings!) but the Parmageddon is unique and delicious enough to make the list.
