Peninsula’s G.A.R. Hall is the site of some of the most laidback and intimate music gatherings around, in a beautiful rural setting, all part of its Voices in the Valley series of shows almost every weekend.
Tonight’s show should be an especially friendly affair, as four of the area’s seasoned blues performers gather to hold a front-porch style jam indoors. Jon Mosey, Mike Lenz, Kristine Jackson and Austin Walkin Cane Charanghat (pictured) all have extensive schedules of their own solo gigs — you can catch one or another of them around every weekend. But they’ll join their guitars, their voices and their repertoires for this one evening. It’s a lot of talent on one stage.
