Northeast Ohio’s Tropidelic should be nice and tanned for their CD release party at the Grog Shop. The band’s just returned from a series of dates in Florida and Myrtle Beach and should be ready to bring the party back home to the Grog Shop.
The quartet originally formed in Kent, natural soil for their party-rocking blend of funk, reggae and jam-band music that soon found them opening to like-minded bands like 311 and Sublime tribute Badfish.
The group is releasing a full-length album Police State, a followup to their 2012 All Heads Unite. Check it out when they play at the Grog with Wanyama, Elementree Levity Project and Morning Fatty opening.
Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
