What makes something beautiful? Is it truly in the eye of the beholder? Hear five “fun, moving, unexpected and accessible” talks from local artists and designers at Slide Jam @ the Akron Art Museum discussing this theme.
Presenters include: Sherry Simms, Associate Professor of Art and the Coordinator of the Jewelry & Metalsmithing area at The University of Akron’s Myers School of Art; Jenn Kidd, who served as Director of Education for Dino Palmieri Salons; contemporary photographer Joy Christiansen Erb; Akron fashion designer and illustrator Justin Campbell; and Krista Jordan, owner of handmade accessory company Flight 4 the Cure.
