Chagrin Arts will kick off its 2015 season with a unique performing arts program, different from their more traditional programs of music, theater and dance. On Sun 2/22 at 3:30PM, the Acrobats of Cirque-tacular will feature a fabulous and dazzling circus with moment-after-moment of high-energy, family-friendly fun.
Over the last eight years, the Acrobats of Cirque-tacular has given thousands of aerial and ground acrobatic performances throughout the world, and now it’s your chance to see them right here in Cleveland.
Repeatedly praised by critics, for their “mind-boggling artistry and athleticism” and their “great feats of daring at the extreme edges of human capability,” their acts have reached millions live and millions more through appearances on most major television networks. Critics hail Cirque-tacular’s performers as “mesmerizing,” “incredible,” and “truly impressive.”
This mind-boggling artistry and spectacular of Acrobats of Cirque-tacular will ignite the imaginations of the young and the young in spirit alike. It will indulge your curiosity and celebrate your senses as this petite troupe of acrobats, aerialists, and circus specialty artists bend, twist, flip, and fly into your hearts and minds.
The Acrobats of Cirque-tacular is produced by New York based Cirque-tacular Entertainment, the East Coast’s premier supplier of elite specialty and acrobatic talent. Under the leadership of Tad Emptage, the group is now complemented by a core group of twenty artist-creators and a roster of 300 of the nation’s finest and most unique performers. Their touring stage shows include Circurious, The Acrobats of Cirque-tacular, Spook-tacular, Snowkus Pokus, Mantryx, and the celebrated Atlantic City smash, The Accused at Providence in the Tropicana.
There will be complimentary face painting by one of the talented artists from Kaman’s Art Shoppes prior to the show, starting at 2:45PM. In addition, following the performance at 4:30 PM, there will be a Meet and Greet where you can meet the acrobats, ask questions and take pictures.
