The semi-finals are history and the 15 contenders for the big award have been chosen in this year’s High School Rock Off. And now the Final Exam takes place at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum.
Young bands from all over northeast Ohio and (a couple from western Pennsylvania) will take the stage for 15-minute sets before the panel of industry experts performs the difficult task of picking the most outstanding. The winner will be announced around 10pm, and you’ll be hearing more from them, since one of the prizes is an opening slot on a concert at the House of blues. If last year’s winner Backstage Politics is any indication, you may be seeing them a LOT more than that.
Doors open at 3pm; tickets are $10.
