If the relatives ate you out of house and home on Christmas and you’ve got friends coming over New Year’s Eve, you’re want to head over to the Coit Road Farmers Market to restock on locally raised vegetables, fruit, meat and dairy products, and locally produced artisan items like bread and other baked goodies.

There’s an added incentive to come out. Market manager Kevin Scheuring aka Spicehound is planning to do a workshop/demonstration on how to make bacon, and yes, there will be tasting when he’s done. We’re guessing that’ll happen around 10 but you might want to check in.
