Cleveland @CreativeMorning Breakfast Talk Series To Launch in January

CreativeMornings

Thomas Fox, formerly of Bad Racket Recordings and Brite Winter Fest, has tipped us off to a new project he’s involved with.

Called Creative Mornings, it sounds like a cousin to TED talks and Pecha Kucha. It’s a “breakfast lecture series for the creative community,” with a free monthly event that combines breakfast and a short talk and, we imagine, getting to meet and chat with other interesting people in town. Like Pecha Kucha, they take place all over the world.

There’s no date yet for the January kickoff event, but Fox has put out a call for speaker nominations.

Creative Mornings speakers “have a story to tell. They are amazingly creative people that are inspiring and generous with helping others learn. Creative is a broad term. Anyone can be creative, not just people that call themselves artists. People in the world that love to make new things are creative, that’s all we’re looking for.”

Fox is looking for speakers with some connection to Cleveland, not just those who currently live here.

Submit nominations to cleveland@creativmornings.com. And stay tuned to their webpage for detail as they develop.
