When Stoned & Beautiful frontman Dreadlock Dave McDougald isn’t playing sunny jam-band music with his primary band, you can sometimes find him hanging out with singer/songwriter Michael Rotman playing G-rated music with a jam-band vibe under the name Big Ship. It’s laid-back music but it’s got a funky feeling that will have you swaying and tapping your feet.
And the group is playing the next edition of the Wine Spot’s monthly Music Spot concert series, co-sponsored with Cleveland Rocks: Past, Present & Future. It’s the perfect showcase because the series is designed to be family-friendly, with an early start time. And while the Wine Spot is (obviously) a purveyor of craft wines and beers, they’ve got non-alcoholic beverages for the kids.
Best of all, the show is free. Come shake off those post-Christmas blahs with this happy music.
