“Propaganda is a truly terrible weapon in the hands of an expert,” wrote Adolf Hitler in 1924. And indeed it is. The Nazis held an expert understanding on the power of mass communications and how it can be used to gain power.
View a selection of propaganda presented by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage. While looking, consider the messages we receive today and the great need for media literacy.
The opening starts with a members-only curator talk at 6pm followed by public curator Q&A in the gallery.
