Light Up Lakewood is almost here, believe it or not. This holiday event obviously isn’t just for Lakewoodites. In fact, it’s worth going to no matter where you live in NEO. Detroit Avenue will be shut down to cars and full of people, music, games, ice carvings, huskies, reindeer, food trucks and general merriment. See a parade at 5, watch a lighting ceremony and fireworks at 6:30, and meet Santa himself until 8:30.
