If it was luck, we’d be screwed. No, there’s something else going on around here that’s responsible for our recent good fortune. Hard work? Sure. I’ll take that over luck any day. Karma? Certainly our region’s got it coming. Wits? Common sense? Our stunning good looks? Whatever it is, it’s anything but luck.

You’d be lucky to get to everything we’ve cued up for you this week: Near West doing JC Superstar as they get ready to make their big move to Gordon Square; the dude abiding at 78th Street; Cleveland Vegan opening in Lakewood, and Creative Fusion artist-in-residence Pablo Serra Marino of Chile mounting, ”You Will Find Luck When You Go Home” at Cleveland Print Room.

Akron’s Shivering Timbers opens for Robyn Hitchcock at the Music Box, Can Journal launches their winter issue at Artist Archives, jazz singer Barbara Rosene appears at Akron’s BLU Jazz, and the Cleveland Flea’s Holiday Market pops up at MidTown Tech Park.
