CoolCleveland offered candidates in the Cuyahoga County Executive race the opportunity to answer a few questions live on camera. The first to accept was Republican candidate Jack Schron, president and CEO of Jergens, Inc., manufacturers of tooling components, fasteners and hoist rings, and founder of Tooling University, an online education business.
Schron also represents District 6 on the Cuyahoga County Council, chairs the Economic Development & Planning Committee and serves as a member of the Finance & Budget and Education, Environment & Sustainability Committees.
Cool Cleveland’s Thomas Mulready spoke with Mr. Schron at a campaign stop at the construction site of the new Max S. Hayes Career and Technical High School, opening in 2015. They discussed Schron’s positions on unions, Cuyahoga County College Savings Account Program, sustainability, women’s issues, re-entry and leadership.
