The Cleveland Print Room not only does intriguing photography shows in its gallery, but it’s also keeping alive the art of darkroom-based photography in the digital era with its open-to-the-public lab for those who no longer have a darkroom in their second bathroom and classes for those who never developed film or made their own prints before. Just two years old, the nonprofit gallery/educational space has already brought renewed attention to older forms of photography.
To help fund its work, it’s hosting a benefit at Mahall’s in Lakewood. The event will feature a pancake breakfast, a silent auction, raffles, and music from WOBC-FM DJs Thomas and Tania. There’ll be a cash bar too, if you’re up for drinking this early in the day.
Tickets are $10.
