The second annual Heights Music Hop enjoyed another perfect autumn night and huge crowd on Sat 10/11. The organizers have decided to extend the concept a little while longer, bringing a diverse evening of free music to the Grog Shop. Hybrid Shakedown will play their infectious funky Afrobeat, Replife aka Daniel Gray-Kontar who performs a freewheeling collision of jazz, hip hop and poetics, while guitarist Doug Wood of Cellocentric (pictured) will join some of the musicians from Classical Revolution. All in all, it’s bound to be different from what you might hear at the Grog Shop most nights.
