Vital Neighborhoods’ third annual Potluck in the Park took place at still another location, this time at the Michael Zone Recreation Center in the Detroit-Shoreway Neighborhood. That gave kids plenty of equipment to play on after joining their parents for a meal that was heavy on vegetarian goodies. Upcycle Parts provided crafts, guitarist Moises Borges and his trio provided Latin music, and local businesses and organizations promoting sustainability had education tables.
