The Case Western Reserve University Farm in Hunting Valley threw open its gates for its fall Harvest Fest. Busloads of students, delivered by shuttles running from campus, as well as the general public, enjoyed nearly perfect weather to take hayride, make smores, explore a grass maze, pet pygmie goats, mix their own scented lip balm and check out the greenhouse and hoop house where agricultural experiments are carried out and food is raised for food service company Bon Appetit to serve on campus. There was a healthy vegetarian meal, a variety of performers including the CWRU juggling team, and a farmers market.
