View Oleander, Paintings of Martha Ferrazza at Waterloo Arts. Ferrazza is one of the founder members of Waterloo Arts. Her paintings in Oleander feature flowers that she constructed prior to painting them. She’ll give an artist talk from 5:30 – 6, followed by the opening reception.
Ferrazza says, “Painting is the place for me that writing is for the fiction writer; I am the architect of each flower, of each image. As a series these paintings are like a book of miniatures writ large; an illuminated manuscript of what fascinates me, what I find distinctive, and what I love.”
Stay after the opening to hear live music in the Callaloo Cafe & Bar from 9 – midnight.
