Small Box CLE is about to pop up in the Warehouse District. An assortment of converted shipping containers will fill up a surface parking lot on W. 6th and St. Clair Ave., bringing new, small-scale retail to Downtown Cleveland. The Cleveland Browns will open the first store on Sun 9/14, followed by vendors Banyan Box (Tremont’s popular Banyan Tree shop) and The Wandering Wardrobe.
“This is what a winning Warehouse District looks like in 2014,” said City of Cleveland Councilman, Ward 3 Joe Cimperman. “This project is perfect Cleveland: shipping containers – up the hill from the waterfront that once and still makes us a Great Lake City – being used to burnish even more pride while creating jobs.”
