A Taste of Louisiana With Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys @ConservancyCVNP

Steveriley

Wed 10/1 @ 8PM

Steve Riley & the Mamou Playboys have been tearing things up down south in Louisiana Cajun country for many moons now. Now nearly 25 years into their career, they’re also been one of the premier ambassadors for the lively fiddle- and accordion-driven music on the road, frequently appearing outside of southern Louisiana bayou country. Riley handles the button box with aplomb, backed by some of the most skilled musicians in their part of the country.

They’ll be performing at Happy Days Lodge at Cuyahoga Valley National Park as part of its Heritage Series, which presents American roots music from many regions of the country.

Tickets are $17, $12 for conservancy members, and $5 for kids 3-12. But if you want to get in the mood with a little Cajun food you can come early for jambalaya. Dinner is $50 for conservancy members, $55 for non-members and $18 for children 5-12. That price includes dinner, beer, dessert and your concert ticket. Dinner starts at 6pm, doors open for the concert at 7:30 and music begins at 8.
