The Open Streets Project wants people to use the streets not just for driving, but for dancing, hanging out and having fun (when streets are closed to traffic, that is). We’re starting to do this locally with events like the Lakewood StreetWalk. Apparently we’re doing something right. The newly released Open Streets Guide highlights Cleveland as one of seven national models for temporarily closing streets to traffic and opening them as one big party center.
