Cool Cleveland’s Thomas Mulready managed to catch up with Fresh Brewed Tees owner Tony Madalone as his t-shirt start-up explodes out of his HQ in Downtown Cleveland.

Reacting quickly to our region’s hometown pride, catch phrases, and even silly quotes from sports figures, Tony creates t-shirts that go viral overnight and had him chasing NFL players all the way to the Super Bowl.

To save money and express even more of his hometown pride, Tony works with Electronic Merchant Systems, which recently launched EMS+, a mobile credit card reader that competes favorably with Square, except that they have .5% lower fees, and they have a staff that actually picks up the phone to answer your questions!

Sin tax talk is all the rage right now in Cleveland — scratch that — Cuyahoga County and even the surrounding collar counties.

That’s not surprising since fans of the teams the sin tax props up covers an entire region — not just one city or county. And it’s that basic fact that originally had me questioning the justification of the tax…

Lost United Hub Shows Cleveland Path To Regional Rail
So the solution to losing a hub airline and 41 nonstop flights a day is a train that runs from Cleveland to Cincinnati? At an average speed of 45 mph?…
John Heaney

Folks, please stop the mindless 45mph ignorance about the killed 3C rail (from Dayton to Cleveland) through Ohio. If you actually read the proposal, you’d know the plan included track upgrades to allow eventual speeds of 110 mph….
