Few people escape the life that Ray Petro had built for himself: spending the better part of everyday “nursing a Stoli rocks with a shot of Jaeger and an eight-ball of coke…”
Then he discovered mountain biking, and built something else that has changed his life, and the lives of thousands of others: the world’s first indoor bike park, right here in Cleveland. He eventually built a second, in Milwaukee, and sold his company to Trek, the world’s largest bike company.
Now he’s told his extraordinary life story in a new book, “Ray’s: The Inspirational True Story of The World’s First Mountain Bike Park.”
