It’s that time of year again when you need to blow the dust off your bike and get rolling. If you are mainly a recreational bike rider who rides for fun and a little exercise and maybe to bask in the sites of the city, you need to know about Slow Roll Cleveland.
Every Monday during the warm weather, the rides gather at different locations around town to take a leisurely ride through a city neighborhood, paced for all stamina levels. Registration is at 6:30, rides start at 7, and there’s socializing in some nearby bar or restaurant afterwards.
This week Slow Roll takes off from Market Square Park, across from the West Side Market. On 5/22 it’s the Waterloo Arts District and on 5/29 Wendy Park. Go here for an all-summer schedule and details on each ride as it approaches. Rides continue through the end of October.
