Thanks in large part to the efforts of Cleveland’s oldest burlesque troupe, Le Femme Mystique, Cleveland has become hungry for burlesque, with other troupes, such as the Red Hot Heathens and Toxic Burlesque, also putting on shows around town to feed fans’ appetite for this art form.
This week area burlesque fans will get to fill their eyeballs with the voluptuous talents of the ladies from New York’s Twirly Whirly Burly-Q, who will perform at the Beachland Ballroom. Its core performers, all of whom perform regularly with NYC-based burlesque shows, are Rosie Cheeks, Ula Uberbusen and Boo Bess, with Hazel Honeysuckle joining them for their spring 2017 tour.
They’ll be joined by a couple of local performers, Le Femme Mystique founder Bella Sin and Shrimp Cocktail. Tickets are $10-$20.
