Cleveland Museum of Art’s Mix Is a Party About Thinking

Fri 4/6@ 6-10PM

The Cleveland Museum of Art’s monthly adult evening Mix is all about philosophy this month, as it honors the 100th anniversary of the death of French sculptor Auguste Rodin.

What’s the connection? Well, it’s the museum’s iconic Rodin sculpture The Thinker, whose pensive presence overlooks the lagoon from its perch at the south façade. Despite being damaged in a bombing in March 1970 (perpetrator never identified), it continues to reign as a symbol of philosophy and intellect.

“Join us for an evening of intellectually stimulating programming designed to spark your cerebral cortex — and your dance moves,” says the museum. The evening usually features drinks on the evening’s theme but we have no idea what that would be in this case.

It’s $10 in advance, $15 at the door. CMA members are free.
