Learn How to Grow and Use Those Pungent Alliums at the Euclid Public Library

Fri 7/28 @ 7PM

Maybe you think you don’t know what an “allium” is but you do. This family of plants includes onions, leeks, garlic and chives. And these essential culinary flavors are easy to grow.

Come learn how at the Euclid Public Library in a program hosted by a master gardener in Ohio State University Extension program and sponsored by the the East Shore Garden Club. Learn when to plant garlic (not when you plant most of your vegetable garden) or how to stop those darned chives from spreading everywhere (We told you they’re easy to grow). The program is free and open to the public.
