Engage Nature on Easter Sunday

BirdEggs

Sun 4/16

Sure, you could make a reservation for brunch somewhere (better hurry!) and jostle the elbow-t0-elbow crowds taking grandma out for Easter. Or you could go for something lower key, like getting  up close and personal with the outdoors, assuming the weather cooperates.

Head out to Holden Arboretum in Kirtland, open 9am-5pm, with miles and miles of trails to explore and plenty in bloom already to check out. And yes, the Murch Canopy Walk and Kalberer Emergent Tower are open for the season for those who want to get a bird’s eye view of the surrounding forests.

If you’re down in the Akron area, the Summit Metroparks F.A. Seiberling Nature Realm offers a different kind of Easter egg hunt today from 1-2pm. There you can look at various types of eggs and learn about the creatures who laid them.
