Dru Christine Fabrics and Design Is Looking for a Few Good People

Do you love to sew and want to use and grow your sewing skills?

Our fashion columnist Dru Thompson moved her business, Dru Christine Fabrics and Design, from North Collinwood’s Waterloo Road to the Lake Affect Building in the Superior Arts District near downtown last year because she had outgrown her space and needed more room for her studio, her retail stock and her classes.

Now she’s looking to hire several part-time people with different skill levels in sewing, including a sewing instructor/assistant for those with high-level skills, a production assistant with basic working knowledge of sewing, and a store assistant who would not need to know about sewing but is eager to learn about selling fashion and sewing supplies.

Needless to say, she’s looking for RELIABLE people. If you can show up on time, work hard and take direction, and love to learn new things, send your resume to druewho1@gmail.com, with “DCEMPLOYMENT” in the subject heading.
