PHOTOSTREAM: Bowieoke at the BOP STOP by Anastasia Pantsios

Sat 5/5

Bowieoke made its Cleveland debut at the BOP STOP, hosted by CoolCleveland’s own Thomas Mulready and the band he plays with, Vanity Crash.

Mulready opened the night with a capsule version of his popular interactive, multimedia David Bowie history presentations, this one covering  the Ziggy Stardust era. After that various Cleveland ensemble and musicians, including Frigid Touch, Nick Wilkinson, Kiss Me Deadly, Emily Keener and 45 Spider performed selections from Bowie’s repertoire, interspersed with audience members coming up to perform their favorite Bowie songs. The evening closed with a short set by Vanity Crash.
