Cleveland Native Anne E. DeChant Returns From Nashville to Play the Music Box

Sat 3/3 @ 8PM

Anne E. DeChant was one of the frontwomen/vocalists/songwriters for popular ’90s Cleveland folk rock group Odd Girl Out. She launched her solo career in 1998, crafting a series of increasingly adept pop/rock albums filled with earnest but catchy songs. And even though she moved to Nashville a decade ago, Clevelanders still hold her close to their hearts.

She comes back to town a couple of times a year for an extended stay and a series of gigs. The Music Box Supper Club is one of her favorite places to play, and she’ll be there again this week. This show was originally intended be the release party for her new EP, Lost in Kentucky but it’s not quite ready, but perhaps she’ll preview some songs. She’s also promising to share her views on guns, so hold on to your hat!

Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door. Doors open for dining at 6pm. She’ll also be on the Fox 8 morning show Fri 3/2 if you’re a morning kind of person.
