Swiss pianist Andreas Haflinger, who grew up in Germany, arrived in the U.S. to attended Juilliard in New York. Soon he was playing with major orchestras in both the U.S. and Europe. In his 30 years as a concert pianist his reputation has continued to grow.
He’ll be at Akron’s E.J. Thomas Hall for the Margaret Baxtresser Annual Piano Concert sponsored by the Tuesday Musical Association. There he’ll perform Beethoven’s challenging Piano Sonata No 29, along with Mozart’s Fantasy in C minor, Beethoven’s Piano Sonata No. 28 in A major and Mozart’s Adagio in B minor.
Tickets are $25-$45, free for all students.
